Almost 46,000 Islanders hear Alan's drumset on any given weeknight in the new theme music for CBC's Compass. From being an eager Island kid who used to follow parade drummers down the street, Alan has developed into one of the Island's finest musicians.

aland Dave is currently working his ass off with the band Paper Lions, and it's paying off nicely! Paper Lions are composed of ten time East Coast Music award nominated artists John MacPhee, Rob MacPhee, Colin Buchanan, and David Cyrus MacDonald. They have performed for tens of thousands of people, earning critical acclaim and regional and national awards including Touring Artist of the Year from the Canadian Arts Presenters Organization (2007) and Pop Recording of the Year from the East Coast Music Awards (2005). Paper Lions performed over 250 shows in 2007 alone. Their live show has been compared to the Police on speed.

peterw Rich Knox was one of the most sought after drummers in PEI before moving to Toronto to pursue his career. He has been playing drums with Ian Toms since 2001. He has performed with such jazz greats as Phil Woods, Pat LaBarbera, Alex Dean and David Restivo. Admired for his strong sense of swing and musicality, not to mention the energy to kick a big band, Rich Knox is a name to watch out for. Richard also appears on McGill big band recordings.
